Aalok Wadhwa

At IIM Bangalore, Aalok Wadhwa took a creative writing course. Assigned to write a complaint letter to a restaurant manager for finding a cockroach in his soup, Aalok ‘enclosed the said roach as evidence’.

Since then, before then too, Aalok has had fun with writing. Fun next only to the joy that food and food writing would bring in. Now, he plans to keep the highs alive, by serving out tasteful thrillers featuring Foodie Detective Madhav Sathe.

For the rest that prepared Aalok as an author. A full-on childhood in dozen small-town homes, friends in nine schools. A professor cum fantabulous-experimental-cook of a maa. A cop papa, narrator of crime and punishment stories. Graduation in Economics from St Stephen’s College and an MBA. Marketing in multinationals, CEO-ships in media and publishing houses. And 100,000 avid followers of his food writing.
