Dhruv Bogra
Dhruv Bogra is an adventure cyclist who had cycled extensively in the Himalayas and Western Ghats on his mountain bike before he embarked on an epic solo cycling journey from Deadhorse in Alaska to Cusco in Peru in 2016-17. In the last seven years he has cycled more than 45,000 kilometers on a mountain and touring bicycle.
Away is his second book, recounting many of his cycling adventures in the Upper and Lower Himalaya regions and sections of Alaska. Dhruv’s first book, Grit, Gravel and Gear chronicles his 400-day solo bicycling journey from the Arctic to the Andes in 2016-17. It was amongst the top 100 titles in Crossword bookstores in 2019 and secured many good reviews from leading dailies and publications in India.
He graduated with History Honors from the University of Delhi in 1989 and is an alumni of the International Management Institute, New Delhi. His most formative years of schooling were at the Army Public School and Sherwood College, Nainital. Dhruv has spent the last 30 years working with renowned retail companies and brands.
