Nishka Pandey

Nishka, the 11-year-old author of The Enemy’s Throne, is a seventh-grade student from Bangalore, India, where she lives with her parents, her sister, her cats and a loveable dog. A storyteller at heart with a deep love for all things fiction, she spends her time crafting characters, weaving plot twists, and bringing magical worlds to life. When she’s not writing, you’ll likely find her reading, skateboarding, playing chess, or kicking a football around.

She’s passionate about exploring new places, fluent in expressing ideas, and steadily mastering the art of the French language. Nishka is not only a writer but also a dreamer who believes in the power of words to spark change. She’s especially driven to make quality literature more accessible for underprivileged children and hopes to contribute toward solving hunger issues in India. Whether through stories or action, she’s determined to leave the world a little brighter.

Isolde has always known she was different. Marked by forbidden magic and hunted by those who fear it, she’s spent her life hiding the truth—even from the person who’s always stood by her side. Cassian is protective, loyal, and everything she thought she could trust. When a violent act forces Isolde to reveal her power, the world begins to see her for what she is. A witch. A threat. A weapon.
