Leela Moulik

Leela Moulik was educated in Dhaka and Calcutta where she studied Sanskrit and Bengali literature, especially the works of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and Rabindranath Tagore and learnt Rabindra Sangeet. With her diplomat husband Leela travelled widely in Europe, USA, and Japan where she learnt Ikebana flower arrangement and doll-making.

She contributed two essays in Bengali on Tagore and Chatterjee for the book “Portraits of Courage in India and Russian Literature.
