Nisha Nair-Gupta

Nisha Nair-Gupta is the Principal Architect at Design [Variable]. With varied work experience as an architect, journalist and an active participant in public art initiatives, she oscillates between her two interests of design and writing.

Nisha has spearheaded People Called Mumbai, the first publication and curatorial project undertaken by People:Place, and initiative by Design [Variable] working in the domain of public and community spaces.

With an inherent belief that the practice of built environment is deeply rooted in humanities, People:Place looks at design, art and writing as tools to activate community and public spaces.
