Veenita Shah
Veenita Shah was born in New Delhi, and holds a Ph.D. in the field of Molecular Biology from Oklahoma State University, USA. Currently, she is a Research Scientist at the Interdisciplinary Programme in Educational Technology, IIT Bombay. Her current research interest lies in online learning with a focus on effective pedagogical considerations in the design of MOOCs and other e-learning content. Over the years, she has been a field application scientist, science writer, proteomics researcher, educational researcher, MOOC creator and teacher trainer. With a passion for writing, she has been involved in authoring journal papers, book chapters, blogs and articles towards disseminating the research work, and communicating its contributions towards bigger goals of learning. She has been a recipient of the AWSA (Augmenting Writing Skills for Articulating Research) award for the year 2020 presented by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Smitten by the culture of a passionate young program at IIT Bombay, she attempts to make her debut as a book author with ET@10.
