Dr Viraj Suvarna
Dr Viraj Suvarna has an MBBS degree from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai and an MD in Pharmacology from Mumbai University. He also has an MSc in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia University, Dublin.
Dr Suvarna has – 25 years of experience in the industry. He has held senior positions in multiple organizations, including Pfizer India, Boehringer Ingelheim India Private Limited, Eris Lifesciences Limited, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited, Lupin Limited, and Biocon Biologics Limited. He is currently the Chief Medical Officer (ad interim) and Medical Chapter Lead at Roche Pharma India.
Dr Suvarna is an accredited speaker with the Maharashtra Medical Council. He was also the Executive Committee member of the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR), Chair of the Investigator Council, and was associated with the India REG EFPIA as Chair/Member. He was also a member of the Compliance and Governance and the Biotechnology working group in the OPPI Medical & Regulatory Committee. He is the Section Editor, Methodology in the ISCR official journal, Perspectives in Clinical Research. He is also a peer reviewer for the Indian Journal of Pharmacology.
