Carol Goyal
A lawyer by training, Carol Goyal brings together a rare blend of intellectual rigour and creative sensibility. She holds a Master’s degree from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and New York, a postgraduate qualification in Contemporary Indian Art and Curatorial Studies from the Bhau Daji Lad Museum, and an Executive MBA from IIM Calcutta. Her professional journey includes stints at Sotheby’s and the Delhi Art Gallery (DAG), reflecting a deep and enduring engagement with the world of art and culture.
A prolific and versatile writer, Carol has contributed columns on business, branding, culture, and society to leading publications such as The Economic Times Brand Equity, Free Press Journal, Campaign, and Businessworld, among others.
She spearheads the Aesthetic Intelligence Lab (AIL), India’s largest AI-first creative boutique, where she leads the creation of ad films, OTT series, micro-dramas, and digital content. Her work reflects a seamless integration of artistic insight and strategic thinking, with an impressive portfolio that includes collaborations with brands like Tata Power, Tata Play, ITC, Dabur, Maruti Suzuki, BMW, and Taj Hotels.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Carol heads her family’s Kailasham Trust and curates a private art museum in Delhi, further underscoring her commitment to the arts and community.
Her contributions to society have been widely recognised. The Punjab Police has honoured her with the Director General’s Honour for Community Outreach and Social Communication, as well as for exemplary Seva to Society, acknowledging her impactful work during Covid. She is also a recipient of the Free Press Journal Award for Social Communication.
